64% of online gamers are female? A couple weeks ago I said to my friends that ill meet the girl I marry playing World of Warcraft. After reading this article, I might not be talking so crazy after all.

In other news: schools like camping...intense. Last night was wicked times downtown St Catharines with Dave and I singing What I Got with the band playing and randomly seeing Kenny and Bator and getting big hugs! Sausage Party tonight (literally), and turkey tomorrow.

Right now I should be programming, but Im going to watch football.

The date last friday went quite well. She drove and paid! I insisted on paying, but she said that it was her treat because I have to pay rent and buy my own food. The down side is that shes got a boy friend, but things arent going good at all.

So, last night this girl came over again. Her, my roomate Dave, Dara and I all watched a movie and drank a few beers. Dave and Dara have got a thing going so after the movie they went upstairs, and the two of us stayed up until 5:30 talking. About life, parents, divorces, relationships, the future, what we see ourselves being like when we're older, being a depressed teenager, and how whacked out so many people we work with are.
Its been so long since Ive had any kind of conversation like that, and I thought it was the best. Some friends at work was saying stupid stuff like "get your balls sucked tonight" or "you might get some." But, she has a boyfriend, and Ive got this damn conscience. Im also not that selfish or aggressive.
Either way, it was a great time, and I think if I play my cards right and be patient something big could come out of this.

I miss writing in here. Lots more to come.

[music |Say Anything - Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too]

Well, let me bring you up to speed.

There are two weeks and two days left of school. Still tons of work to do, but itll get done cause I own. Because of the strike we are cramming 7 weeks worth of work into 4 weeks. I havent missed an assignment or lab this year, and you can count on one hand the classes ive missed. That includes today.
At the beginning of January I got this job at Merusa Marketing here in Welland. We call Telus customers in Alberta and BC and sell them calling features, DSL, and long distance plans. Its actaully not that bad.
They recently starting offering digital TV over their DSL, and I was picked to be on the TV Team. The first day we were calling I made the first sale, and was awarded $20 for doing so. It bought the first round at the bar that night.
I moved out of my Moms and I know live with this brother and sister that I work with. We live in a semi at 122 NORTHGATE (three houses to the left of where Justin Foreman use to live). I moved out last friday and so far its really good. Some days friends from work come over and stay until 4 am and we order pizza and watch funny or really weird movies. Or some days lots of people are hanging out, but I have school, so I go to bed early. Everyone helps and respects each other and its a very positive environment. And my roomate Andrew plays bass and has a drumkit. They've got a pool table too!
Yesterday I got a kitten! A girl we work with had kittens, and we already had one in the house, and I thought it was lonely and I love cats, and there was one left from the litter, so I took it! I havent decided on a name yet. So far my top two are Snowball and Catatonic. Its all white with blue eyes. Name suggestions are welcome.

And finally, theres a party on friday. My HOUSE WARMING PARTY!!
122 Northgate Dr.
BYOB
9 pm - dawn

All are welcome. I havent seen anyone is so long, so you all should come!

The Legend of Mike the Gnome [Oct. 23rd, 2005|12:46 pm]
[mood | good]
[music |Panic! At The Disco]

Five years ago there was a group of friends that called themselves The Friday Crue. They all went to A.N. Myer Secondary School in Niagara Falls, and got together on friday nights to party!
One autumn evening four of the TFC (Brett, Andrew, Ben and myself) were walking down Keith St. and noticed a big lawn gnome on someones porch. The mission of the TFC became clear. Steal that gnome!
Which they did. A week or two after the TFC first seeing it, the gnome vanished from the owners porch. Ben, Len, and AC were walking to ACs house (drunk) and stole the gnome and brought it to ACs basement. He was then named Mike and became the TFCs mascot.
Mike was brought to parties all over the Niagara Region. He was quite the chick magnet, and he loved blunts, and gardens. One time at a party Mike got a ham sandwich smeared all over him. He was then sold to some younger high school kid. Several weeks later, Mike was stolen back by the TFC.
Mike lived in ACs basement until the spring of '03 on the night of the "Benny Macs Back From Banff party" when St Gabriel LaLemont Elementary was broken into. Mike was tossed a side (and his right arm broke off) as we were running away from the alarm going off in the school. Len went back and picked him up and gave him a nice home.
Then that fall when everyone went back to school, Len brought Mike the Gnome with him to London. There his legacy and legend grew leaps and bounds. Len was the host and goer of many parties, which he brought Mike the Gnome to and he quickly became popular around campus. Apparently strangers know him by name and will shout "Mike the gnome!" as hes carried around. And Mike goes to every Western football game.

The Legend of Mike the Gnome was finally captured on national television last month. The Score did a little spot on the crazy fans at Western University during their homecoming. You can bet Mike the gnome was in the limelight! One of Lens roomates was carrying the gnome around and Mike caught the attention of the shows host Cabbie.

LABOURIOUS DAY [Sep. 6th, 2005|12:28 pm]
[mood | blank]
[music |none]

So, I moved to my Moms.
Played LAN games at ACs last night until 3 am, went home packed, and went to bed at 4:20 am. Got up at 6, got a ride to Welland and then slept til 11:30. Now im at Niagara College, no internet at my Moms for a few days, and im still not registered. I DO have enough money to pay for my couple classes (look i can save money!). All I need to get signed up is a signature from one teacher. I cant find him anywhere.
Orientation day kinda sucks these days. In my first year Sloan played. Nothing like that this year. Im jamming with some peeps later today, it should be fun. My goals for this semister are to go to every class, jam with lots of different people, and master Linux.

GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN
